Overview

Watsu is the world's first form of aquatic bodywork developed by the late Harold Dull in the early 1980's in Harbin Hot Springs in northern California. Essentially we apply the principles of Zen Shiatsu in warm water, with unconditional holding and "seeing" the body as a whole while creating a safe space to access another level of being. It's a form of aquatic bodywork used for deep relaxation, performed in one-to-one pool sessions where the neuromuscular system is profoundly benefited with an extremely positive effect on the central nervous system. Certainly a unique healing experience.

Reviews

During my Watsu session I felt safe and secure and this allowed me to let go of any kind of control. Tania moves you through the water with great care and attention and it was such a gift to observe my body floating in warm water. After the session I felt really relaxed and motivated. Hours later I noticed an enormous relief in my whole body as if everything unnecessary had magically left my world. What a wonderful experience!

Marianne

What an incredible experience! The space that was created between Tania, the water and my body was something sacred! My whole body except my face was immersed in warm water and I felt immediate relaxation. The sensation of letting go in Tania’s hands was like going back, to a place where I have already been, a familiar and cosy place, loving and warm. It was a gift to have one hour while I enjoyed being completely inactive and at the same time taken care of, moved, stretched, massaged… It was a true gift that everyone should give themselves.
